LORDI

Monster Rock'n'Roll outfit Lordi - national treasures back home in their native Finland - wants everyone in the world, nay, the universe to know who they are. Bit by bit, Lordi is making this monsterican dream a reality.

Since winning the 2006 Eurovision Award in May, Lordi’s dream has grown to gargantuan heights. Besides conquering numerous European charts the band has been given their own credit card though Finland’s Sampo Bank, as well as their own soft drink – Lordi Cola. Lordi anticipates their success in Europe will carry over to North America and become a monster hit.

With an over-the-top, unstoppable live show that combines the theatrics of horror movies and a pyrotechnic-fuelled Rock'n'Roll, Lordi knows how to bowl over their fans. As bandleader Mr. Lordi explains, "Create the band that you would like to see on stage. Write the songs you’d love to sing along to. That’s pretty much all that we love to do."

With a gang of monsters at his side - Amen the unstoppable mummy, Awa the vampire countess, Ox the hellbull and Kita the alien manbeast – Lordi unleashes "The Arockalypse", an anthemic, Rock'n'Roll journey. Indeed, monsters do have more fun.

"The Arockalypse" finds Lordi leaner and meaner than ever before. The band has sharpened their focus in order to bring their dream-cum-nightmare to life and nothing short of a total bombardment of the senses will do. The riffs are certainly not de-fleshed nor are the mighty choruses mummified. These songs are made to kick your ass and then some.

Some longtime heroes and fellow travelers of the netherworld have contributed to the band’s "good to be bad" cause. Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider acts as the party's MC, infiltrating the radio broadcast that opens the album ("SCG3 Special Report") while Twisted Sister guitarist Jay Jay French guests on "Chainsaw Buffet". Former Kiss axeman Bruce Kullick delivers a blinding solo on "It Snows In Hell" and Accept legend Udo Dirkschneider's distinctive voice can be heard on "They Only Come Out At Night".

CASCADA

Cascada is making a sharp impression on the American charts with her hit single "Everytime We Touch" from the debut album of the same name. With its aggressive and energetic Dance-Pop beat, "Everytime We Touch" stands out from its Top 40 counterparts. Cascada's dramatic and passionate vocals add a fine polish to the package alongside DJ/producers, Manian and Yanou, who provide the musical backing. "Everytime We Touch" has been impressing CHR/Pop radio stations across the country, climbing up their play lists, even on stations that usually turn down Dance songs. It's a bright contrast to all the Rap and R&B dominating radio, and music listeners are taking notice.

Cascada was born Natalie Horler in Bonn, Germany on September 23, 1981, and is of English descent. As she explains it, "As my parents had moved from England to Germany a year earlier, I grew up here with them and my two sisters and still enjoyed a very English childhood. My mother Christine is a foreign language teacher and my father David is a Jazz musician with the WDR Big Band in Cologne. It is, of course, from him that I inherited my passion for music. He taught himself everything he knows from a young age, and has made such an enormous success of himself that I can only hope to achieve what he has today."

"When I was very young I would often do recordings in my father's studio at home, a lot of the time Jazz and Disney songs. I could never really say when I started singing. I just enjoyed it so much and I knew at a very, very early age that I wanted to be a singer. Also, I've always taken different kinds of dancing lessons, like Step Dance, Jazz Dance, Hip-Hop and Street Dance, and have acted in a few amateur plays as a teenager. As my father often directed the music of these plays, I also helped him with the vocal recordings and rehearsals. Next to Dance music, I also love Soul music and due to my father, I love Jazz as well." When asked who she admires, Natalie answers, "I admire just about anyone who has a set of vocals to die for! Really, it doesnt matter who it is; if it's Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Boyz II Men or just someone I happen to hear singing Gospel music in church-- I'll listen and love it!"

On how Cascada came to be, Natalie explains... "At eighteen I started doing studio work. Here and there I'd record some tracks for different DJ's and that's how I ended up meeting Manuel Reuter (Manian) and Yann (Yanou). We did a couple of songs together and they soon became quite successful."

And now their full album, also titled "Everytime We Touch", features 14 diverse cuts, as well as covers of Savage Garden's "Truly Madly Deeply" and Kim Wilde's new wave nugget "Kids In America." "I cannot wait to hear peoples reactions to the album!" says Natalie. "It´s loaded with really great, upbeat Cascada-style tracks including two or three ballads also. I'm absolutely in love with a certain track called "Another You" which Yann wrote and I sincerely hope the fans love it as much as I do."

Currently, Cascada has been busy touring America as well as throughout Europe. She's been impressing crowds and getting great reviews. As Natalie puts it: "It's fantastic that you guys like listening and partying to my music. I hope Manian, Yanou, and I can continue to put smiles on your faces, and I can't wait to see you at the upcoming shows! Performing for such great fans is so much fun and makes all the hard work worth it!"

Projekt je osmišljen kao Elektro-Pop fuzija raznih Ethno elemenata sa svih strana svijeta, a prvi singl "Mukke!" već je doživio brojna emitiranja po radio postajama ne samo u Hrvatskoj, nego i u Njemačkoj, Austriji, Francuskoj, Belgiji i SADu. Iako nama potpuno nerazumljivog teksta, pjesma je nevjerojatno zarazna, i pravi je plesni hit!

Musical background:I was raised in a musical family and I've been singing since childhood. My mom also forced me to play the oboe for 8 years! I toured constantly with my mom and her band in my childhood, sometimes I even sang on stage with them.

After I turned 13, I started competing in several talent shows. I joined my first real band when I was 17, it was a cover band and all the other musicians were older than me. After playing cover songs, I joined a band called Alyson Avenue, first just as a studio singer, later as their leading lady. We've released 2 albums since 2000.

At the age of 21, I played the leading role in a Rock opera/musical called "Gränsland" in Helsingborg. After that I got in to the Balettakademien in Gothenburg. In addition to the already mentioned, I've been in several other bands over the years, I've sung in choirs, done studio work for various projects and I've even occasionally been a wedding singer. Recently I sang a duet with Michael Bormann (ex-Jaded Heart-singer) on his album "Conspiracy". During my singing career I've sung nearly every kind of music that there is!

In my earlier days I took singing lessons at the Copenhagen Music Conservatorie, in Helsingör, Denmark with a private teacher. Nowadays, when its needed, I take lessons from a private teacher at the Malmö Music University.

N-EURO

We need revolution! So believes N-Euro, the superartist who began under the name of N-Euro in the year 1999 in the beautiful country of Estonia. This country should undoubtedly be visited by His every true fan.

Under revolution N-Euro doesn’t think war, no, He dreams of the victory of simple love and goodness over darkness and cynicism, envy and money-cult, stupidity and selfishness. There is no need to talk about democracy when it is ignored with every step taken. Maybe we should concentrate on beautiful thoughts again, let’s be honest and happy. This is exactly what N-Euro wishes to offer from stage, and to change the world with simple and clear music.

He is an artist who is able to make people think and also to laugh until you are out of strength.

BAD BOYS BLUE

The history of Bad Boys Blue started in Cologne (Germany) back in 1984, when the founders of Coconut Records - Tony Hendrik and his wife, Karin van Haaren (vel Karin Hartmann), decided to create a new music project. They planned to look for members of the new group in England, but finally they found them in Cologne. The original line-up was following: John Edward McInerney (born September 7th, 1957, Liverpool, England), Trevor Oliver Taylor (born January 11th, 1958, Montego Bay, Jamaica) and Andrew Freddie Thomas (born May 25th, 1946, San Francisco, USA).

The first single of the group called "L.O.V.E. In My Car" was released in autumn 1984. It did very well in the discos and clubs, but it didn't get to the charts at all. It was the first, but also the last single track which Andrew sang lead on, cause producers wanted Trevor Taylor to sing the lead vocal in other tracks.

In spring 1985 was released the single "You're A Woman", which became very popular in Europe. The track which was sang by Trevor appeared in many european charts - Switzerland #2, Sweden #2 and Germany #8. In summer 1985 was released the debut album called "Hot Girls - Bad Boys" (Switzerland #9). The next single released from the album was "Pretty Young Girl" which did very well in the charts too - Sweden #9, Germany #29 and Switzerland #30.

1986 brought another two hit-singles: "Kisses And Tears (My One And Only)" (Germany #22, Switzerland #26) and "I Wana Hear Your Heartbeat (Sunday Girl)" (Germany #14, Switzerland #21). The both singles promoted the second album called "Heartbeat", which except typical BBB tracks contained two covers: "Love Really Hurts Without You" (originally performed by Billy Ocean) and "Baby I Love You" (originally performed by Phil Spector). The first of them was even released as the next single, but it didn't achieve the success.

In 1987 was released the single "Gimme Gimme Your Lovin' (Little Lady)", which discovered the next album. It was a typical BBB track sung by Trevor, so it didn't surprise the fans at all. At that time no-one could suppose what changes in the group will be caused by "Come Back And Stay" - a song which was chosen to be released as the next single. It was the first track which John sang lead on and its big trump were female parts sang by Lyane Leigh. The single did very well in the charts - Germany #18. In June was released the 3rd album called "Love Is No Crime", where except Trevor, also John was a lead singer.

1988 brought the next album titled "My Blue World". It was promoted by three singles: "Don't Walk Away, Suzanne" (Germany #44), "Lovers In The Sand" (Germany #42) and "A World Without You (Michelle)" (Germany #17). The remixes of the last two singles were also released as special limited editions. Almost all of the songs from the new album were sang by John. Trevor only sang two tracks lead on: "Bad Reputation" and "Love Don't Come Easy". This sitation surely had an influence for the relations in the group. It was obvious that Trevor felt not comfortable staying in the background. In 1988 was also released the first compilation of the group called "Bad Boys Best", which included all the hit singles as well as a brand new track titled "Hungry For Love". It was also the next single released in two versions (Germany #26). Trevor Taylor decided to leave the group at that time and has continued his career in other groups - "Street Noise", "Ozazuvas", "Supa T." and "Umoya".

The group quickly found a new member named Trevor Bannister (born August 5th, 1965, Grembsby, England). In 1989 that crew released two singles: "Lady In Black" (Germany #16) and "A Train To Nowhere" (Germany #27). The both tracks promoted the new album called simply "The 5th". Also in 1989 was released the compilation "Super 20".

"Game Of Love" was the name of the next album released in 1990. The album was promoted by three singles: "How I Need You" (Germany #33), "Queen Of Hearts" (Germany #28) and "Jungle In My Heart" (Germany #41). Also in 1990 was released the special single called "The Official Bootleg Megamix vol.1" and the VHS cassette "Bad Boys Best" containg videos of the group.

In 1991 was released the single "House Of Silence", which discovered the new album under the same title. Though there were plenty of good tracks on it, the record company decided to not promote it with the next singles.

In 1992 was released the next album "Totally", which was promoted by three singles: "I Totally Miss You", "Save Your Love" (Germany #16, USA #89) and "A Love Like This". The first two singles were released in the U.S. as special editions containg some new remixes. In 1992 was also released the next compilation called "More Bad Boys Best". The item included the best tracks from 1989-1992, but also some rarities previously unreleased: the new version of "Kiss You All Over, Baby" sung by John, the live version of "Lady In Black" and the special remix of "You're A Woman" sung by John McInerney and Trevor Bannister.

1993 was another turning point in the career of the group. Then was released the single "Kiss You All Over, Baby" (the version was taken from "More Bad Boys Best" compilation), which promoted the new album titled "Kiss". It was really particular item as it included 6 brand new tracks, the new versions of "Kiss You All Over, Baby" and "I Live", the original version of "Kisses And Tears (My One And Only)", the new remix of "I Totally Miss You" and spanish version of "Save Your Love" called "Aguarda Tu Amor". Also in 1993 were released two compilations: "Dancing With The Bad Boys" and "Bad Boys Blue" (only in the U.S.). Though the group had many successes at that time, Trevor Bannister decided to leave. Then John and Andrew decided to leave Coconut Records and signed to the new label called Intercord. In 1993 BBB toured in Africa with the additional singer named Owen Standing. The guy has never become the official member of the group as the ex-label of the BBB - Coconut Records, offered him a solo contract. John and Andrew decided to continue as a duet.

In 1994 was released the single "Go Go (Love Overload)", which promoted the totally new album titled "To Blue Horizons". The item was promoted by two more singles: "What Else?" and "Luv 4 U". In the U.S. was released the special edition of the album including two bonus tracks: "Family Beat" and "Don't Be So Shy" (the B-sides of the last two singles). Meanwhile Coconut Records released the compilation "You're A Woman", the single "Dance Remixes" and the album "Completely Remixed" containing new remixes of the greatest hits.

In June 1995 was released the single "Hold You In My Arms" recorded with a new member of the group named Mo Russel (born March 15th, 1956, Aruba, Caribbean Sea).

In 1996 was released the next album "Bang Bang Bang", which was promoted by one more single called "Anywhere". Unfortunately, neither the both singles nor the album didn't achieve the success.

In 1997 the boys didn't work in the studio, but in March 1998 they signed to Coconut Records and released the single "You're A Woman'98". The new version of the old track did well in the charts and was very successfull (Finland #17, Germany #52). In summer the group released the new album called "Back" (Germany #28). The item included eight new remixes of the well known hits, the special megamix and seven brand new tracks. The new versions were mostly produced by Andy Matern and Christoph Schick. A few new tracks were written and produced by a well known german composer and producer, David Brandes (Bros Music). The album was promoted by three more singles: "The Turbo Megamix" (Finland #8, Germany #73), "From Heaven To Heartache" and "The Turbo Megamix Vol.2". Also in 1998 was released the compilation "With Love From Bad Boys Blue... - The Best Of The Ballads" and the VHS cassette "Bad Boys Best'98".

In February 1999 were released two singles: "Hold You In My Arms'99" (by Intercord) and "The-Hit-Pack", which promoted the new album called "...Continued" (Germany #38). Similar to "Back" also this item included a couple of new tracks as well as new versions of well known hits. In May 1999 was released the compilation "Pretty Young Girl" and in September another new album titled "Follow The Light" (Germany #80). It was also the last album recorded with Mo as he decided to leave the group in the end of the year. He was replaced by Kevin McCoy also known as Jojo Max (born January 21st, 1971, Virginia, USA). Kevin has already worked with the group since 1998 as a raper.

May 29th, 2000 was released the single "I'll Be Good". It discovered the next album called "Tonite" which was released in July. Though such tracks like: "S.O.S. For Love", "I Wanna Fly" or "Do What You Do" were potential hits, the record company decided to not promote it with the next singles.

In July 2001 was released the next compilation called "Bad Boys Best 2001". Except the hits taken from the last four albums, the item included two brand new tracks: "Don't Want Your Love" and "Sweet Little Things". Also in 2001 the contract between Coconut Records and the group has ended.

In summer 2002 the group signed a deal with David Brandes (Bros Music) and in September they started working on their next album.

In the beginning of 2003 Kevin McCoy left the group. John and Andrew decided to go on as a duet again. July 7th, 2003 was released the single "Lover On The Line" (Germany #72), which promoted the new album titled "Around The World" (Germany #43), released August 4th. The single as well as the album were released by Koch Universal. In 2003 were also released two compilations: "In The Mix" and "The Stars Of The XX Century - Greatest Hits" (only in Poland).

Another year (2004) Bad Boys Blue spent on promo concerts in Germany, USA, Russia, Ukraine and Hungary.

In January 2005 took place the last concert of the hitherto crew - John made the decision to stop working with Andrew. The next months of 2005 John spent on concerts in Germany, USA, Russia and Turkey, where he performed along with backing singers and live group. In 2005 was released the first DVD of the group titled "1985 - 2005 Video Collection", the compilations: "Hit Collection vol. 1 - You're A Woman", "Hit Collection vol.2 - The Best Of", "Greatest Hits Remixed", "Hungry For Love", "Greatest Hits" (2 CD) and re-edtions of the two earlier compilations: "Completely Remixed" and "Dancing With The Bad Boys".

In January 2006 John was joined by Carlos Ferreira (born April 11th, 1969, Mozambique). In September 2006 was released special 3 CD box entitled "Hit Collection" containing Bad Boys Blue mega hits. The group is currently working in Paris with french producers on new material to be featured in planned for 2007 new album. This supposed to be come back to the roots with great music.

ŽIVO BLATO

Zivo Blato is a Croatian Heavy Metal band. It was founded in Split in 1998 by Folk/Rock singer Sinisa Vuco. It's a trio consisting of Sinisa Vuco - which takes the stage name General Vasilij Mitu (vocal/guitar), Veseli Sir (bass), and Mala Planina (drums). Mala Planina is actually Mirjan Jovanovic Toso, a famous drummer from Split. He used to be in a lot of bands, and now he is a member of Osmi Putnik, former band of the famous Croatian singer Gibonni. Toso had serious drug problems, and that is the main reason that no one in their right mind would hire him, although he still remains a great drummer. Still, Vuco did hire him, and just as Goran Bregovic did with Mladen Vojicic Tifa (Vuco's role-model), Vuco locked Toso in the studio so that he would lay down the drum-tracks clean. Toso is one of the three great drummers from Split. The second one is Petar Santic, and the third is the great Elvis Katic who is a well known session drummer in California and plays drums in a Californian band called Simon Stinger.

On the album, Vuco played the guitar. By doing that he proved what people already know and that is the fact that he is a really good guitarist. The lyrics on the album are hilarious...

SINIŠA VUCO

Siniša Vuco, rođen je u Splitu 1971 godine. Glazba ga je okupirala od ranog djetinjstva, a kao srednjoškolac nastupao je i pobjeđivao na amaterskim festivalima poput Prvog glasa Kaštela.

Tijekom 15-godišnjeg profesionalnog bavljenja glazbom u izdanju Croatia Recordsa objavio je 11 albuma od kojih su četiri dosegla zlatnu, a tri srebrnu tiražu. Dobitnik je i diskografske nagrade Zlatna Ptica jer je do 2001 godine prodao preko 100.000 svojih albuma, a da su se pribrajali i albumi drugih izvođača na kojima je bio autor glazbe i tekstova brojka bi vjerojatno duplo narasla. Naime, pisao je i skladao za poznate izvođače kao što su Mišo Kovač, Kemal Monteno, Zlatni Dukati, Alka Vuica, Vlado Kalember i brojni drugi. Kao pjevač Vuco je dobio niz festivalskih nagrada od kojih su najznačajnije nagrade na festivalu Melodije Jadrana na kojemu je dva puta po ocjeni stručnog žirija osvojio treću nagradu: 1994 god. za pjesmu "Siromasi" i 1999 god. za "Ostani". Dva puta je pobijedio na Mostarskom festivalu: 1998 s pjesmom "Mostarska", te kao autor 2001 s pjesmom "Stari se" koju je izveo Marko Perković Thompson. Pop Rock stil bio je njegov prvi odabir na početku karijere, s kojim je zapravo i postigao najviše uspjeha. Danas ga smatraju pjevačem i skladateljem Folk-Rock glazbe. Učestale teme u njegovim pjesmama su ljubav, alkoholizam, prošlost i patnja. Karijeru je počeo kao Heavy Metal glazbenik, sviravši, među ostalim, i u Vatrenim Ulicama. Veliki preokret u svojoj glazbenoj karijeri napravio je krajem 1991 i početkom 1992, kad je počeo koristiti harmoniku i elemente orijentalne i narodnjačke glazbe.

Vuco je jedini izvođač u Hrvatskoj koji svira svaki glazbeni pravac i vrlo je dobar u bilo čemu što napravi! Prva dva albuma "A gdje si ti" i "Vuco II" predstavljaju Vucine balade i zabavnu glazbu kojom se proslavio. "Vuco 4" je album koji Vucu lagano uz pomoć velikog meštra balkanske muzike Gorana Bregovića priprema na ono čime će uzdrmati cijelu Hrvatsku javnost, podići ju na noge i podijelit na one koji vole i odobravaju i one koji mrze i ne mogu smisliti. U ljeto 1998 izlazi Vucin nosač zvuka pod nazivom "Volim piti i ljubiti" i prodaje se u rekordnom broju te osvaja zlatnu ploču. Bio je to prvi Hard Folk album. 2004 Vuco se vraća narodnjačkoj formi i izdaje album "Volim narodno" na kojemu se nalazi istoimena pjesma duet s velikom ex Yu Folk zvijezdom Mitrom Mirićem koji je postala veliki hit i potvrdila Vucin status kao vodećeg izvođača i tekstopisca na Balkanu.

"Together we make the new Modern Talking", Dieter Bohlen already announced some weeks ago. Now we have the first details of the new duo Miami Twice.

It's a duet of Mark Medlock & Dieter Bohlen, Dieter will sing the chorus. First Dieter wanted to a sing a word only, than a whole line and finally a complete chorus. It is not improbable that the chorus will be in the style of Modern Talking. A common music video of the two was already taken in Majorca, too.

Iako je koncert Marka Perkovića Thompsona zbog kiše bio odgođen za jedan dan, u Maksimiru se pojavilo 45.000 njegovih obožavatelja koji su stizali autobusima iz svih dijelova Hrvatske i Europe. Vjernoj se publici Thompson odužio 3-satnom svirkom, napravivši presjek cjelokupne glazbene karijere, od ratnih "Čavoglava" do najnovijih hitova poput "Moj dida i ja". Pritom su mu društvo na pozornici nakratko pravili i momci iz klape Intrade, a užarena atmosfera, raspoložena publika i fenomenalni vatromet opravdali su najave organizatora da će koncert na stadionu biti pravi spektakl...

Za sjajnu scenografiju "kriv" je Ivica Propadalo koji je pozornicu od 700 m2 osmislio kao srednjovjekovni dvorac. Na vrhu dvorca nalazio se zabijeni mač koji je Thompson usred nastupa izvukao poput kralja Artura...

ŽANA POVŠE

Atraktivna, svestrana 22-godišnja Slovenka Žana već je kao dijete pokazivala izuzetnu ljubav prema glazbi. Završila je glazbenu školu i osim violine svira klavir, bubnjeve, gitaru, flautu i trubu.

Profesionalno se počela baviti glazbom 2003 godine sa grupom RnB Wannabes s kojom je pobjedila na večeri mladih zvijezda na eminentnom slovenskom festivalu Melodije morja in sonca. Iste je godine Žana krenula u samostalni estradni proboj. S prvom pjesmom "Požar" nastupila je na festivalu Ema, slovenskom natjecanju za pjesmu za Eurosong. U iduće dvije godine nastupila je na svim najeminentnijim slovenskim festivalima.

Sredinom 2005 godine Žana izdaje svoj prvi CD "Sexy" s kojega se posebno izdvojio mega-hit "Trofeja" kojeg je snimila s poznatim slovenskim rapperima Kocka.

U veljači iste godine pojavila naga u Playboyu. Za Playboy se skinula, kaže, kako bi za mnogo godina, kada bude stara, imala dokaz kakva je bomba bila u dvadesetima. Krajem godine je promjenila autorski team i uspješno prešla u drukčiji glazbeni izričaj. Pjesme "Poletiva" i "Ona" su bile veliki radijski hitovi.

U pjesmi "Druga violina" s kojom je nastupila na ovogodišnjem HRF-u, Žana je po prvi puta pjevala na hrvatskom jeziku!

Žana trenutno izuzetno uspješno nastupa u slovenskom televizijskom show programu "Plešimo sa zvijezdama", a u trenucima odmora slika i kreira vlastitu modnu liniju.

ANGELS

Angels is the first Croatian Pop-Rock girl band, a new and very talented music group. Their style is considered completely new and very fresh on the Croatian music scene.

They play their own instruments and sing all the vocals on their singles.

Angels have existed as a group for four years, and their popularity continues to grow. Their musical style is energetic Pop-Rock with a little Punk, similar to Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, The Offspring and Vanilla Ninja.

Their first single was called "Nikad Neces Shvatiti" ("You Will Never Find Out"), for which they have made a music video.

They toured with Sabrina, Tony Lee King and the music group Dragonfly as part of the Hypo Summer Tour 2005. Angels recorded a live concert in club The Best, a Croatian disco club in Zagreb, on Hypo Christmas Party 2005 (Croatian Christmas music party).

They became one of the leaders and the most famous music project on Croatian Pop-Rock scene. Electronic (RTL, Nova TV, HRT, Ri-TV, NET, Kanal R, Vinkovacka TV, Varazdinska TV, Z1, TV Dalmacija,TV Nova Pula, Slavonska TV) and paper media (OK!, Bravo, Teen, Jutarnji List, Glas Slavonije, Extra, Vecernji List...) gave a big part of their time and space to them.

They entered the biggest Croatian festival Dora 2006 with the song "Party Djevojka" ("Party Girl"), written by Mario Simunovic (lyrics) and Marko Tomasovic (music).

They won in the semi-finals and in the final they made a success. For making video there have been choosed two locations, one of the locations was coctail bar in city of Crikvenica and the other one was Krk quarry.

The girls are singing huge repertoire sutiable for big parties.



They are performing songs by Shakira, Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi, Europe, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Soul compozitions and the wide range of domestic songs on their own way.

They entered big Croatian festival Dora 2007 with the song "Male Vjestice" ("Little Witches"), written by Mario Simunovic (lyrics), Marko Tomasovic (music).

BARBARA MUNJAS

Barbara Munjas is a singer with a strong, beautiful voice. During the Knin Festival 2005 she won prize for the best music debut for her song "Gledam u more" (“I'm Watching The Sea”) written by Ivan Brdar (music) and Mario Simunovic (text). She has made a music video for this song.

Her song "Idem tamo gdje je sve po mom" ("Living On My Own") caused a big excitment between music critics in Rijeka. As a singer she is very confident in herself and has strong precise voice.

In a spare time she is working as the top model and she is very successfull in that. She was also succesfull on varius competitions, for example on Miss Alpe Adria 2005.

Since Claudia Beni have not been on this year's Dora with the song "Ti si tu" ("You Are Here"), written by Dean Bakic, her place took Barbara Munjas, thanx to her fantastic talent, and has signed a contract with Croatia Records.

SABRINA HEBIRI

Sabrina Hebiri won the Radio Station Rijeka's Golden Microphone Award for best interpretation at MIK 2005, the Croatian music festival, for the song "Dragi Bog zna" (“Good God Knows”).

She also won the 2005 best debut at the Dalmatinska Sansona (Croatian Music Festival in Dalmatia) in Sibenik with her song "Kad bi ribe mogle pricati" (“When Fish Could Speak”).

During the Suncane Skale music festival in Herceg Novi, she performed in a group of 22 singers called “Nove nade” (“New Hope”).

She was on the Hrvatski radijski festival 2005 (Croatian Radio Festival) with her song "Okreni se" (“Turn Around”). Sabrina Hebiri also participated in the Hypo Summer Tour 2005 in 17 cities along the coast of Croatia, and in the music festival Zlatne zice Slavonije 2005 (Golden String of Slavonia) in the Croatian city of Pozega, where she sang a duet called "Nisi me trebala varati" (“You Shouldn't Cheat Me”) with popular Croatian singer Daniel Beni.

It is not a secret that Djordje Novkovic suggested to her menager and music producer to substitute Jelena Rozga from the band Magazin, after she left to build solo career, not knowing at that moment that she was only 15 years old.

She is the winner of the festival called "Oni dolaze 2006" (They Came 2006) with the song "Odvedi me!" ("Take Me Away!"), and the award was direct access to Hrvatski radijski festival (Croatian Radio Festival).

Some of her songs are playing on radio stations in Chech Republic, Belgium, Norway, Sweden...

MODERN TALKING

Dieter Bohlen (rođen 07.02.1954) se po svršetku studija 1979 godine u Hamburgu odlučio profesionalno baviti poslom kojega je do tada radio u najvećoj diskografskoj kući na svijetu Warner Chappellu da bi mogao platiti svoje školovanje. Iako je do tada već skladao mnoštvo pjesama za njemačke Schlager i Pop izvođače, pa čak i sam objavio nekoliko singlova pod pseudonimima Ryan Simmons i Steve Benson, neki veći uspjeh nije postigao, stoga je odlučio naći novi muški vokal i započeti sasvim novi projekt. Nakon nekoliko odbačenih mogućnosti, Dieter je sreo čovjeka imenom Bernd Weidung-Balling, kasnije poznatijeg kao Thomas Anders (rođen 01.03.1963). Thomas je već bio završio klavir u višoj glazbenoj školi i do tada je već bio objavio nekoliko albuma koji se nisu osobito proslavili. No, poslije nekoliko novih singlova koje je napisao i producirao Dieter, postalo je jasno da će i taj novi projekt pod nazivom Modernes Gesprach (doslovno njemačko značenje engleskog naziva Modern Talking) biti neuspješan.

Sve je to dovelo do Dieterove odluke da prestane pisati tekstove na njemačkom, pa je u proljeće 1984 odlučio promijeniti naziv dueta u Modern Talking i tada je objavio singl "You're My Heart, You're My Soul". Na veliko čudo Dietera i Thomasa koji su do tada uglavnom bili navikli na neuspjeh, ovaj je singl preko noći postao megahit u cijeloj Europi. Pjesma se vrlo brzo popela na prva mjesta ljestvica prodaje gotovo svih europskih zemalja, a ubrzo se probila i na japansko tržište. Sve je to ohrabrilo ovaj dvojac potpomognut producentom Luisom Rodriguezom, pa su vrlo brzo objavili i cijeli album "The 1st Album" i drugi singl "You Can Win If You Want". Novi zvuk kojeg je u Disco glazbu uveo projekt Modern Talking ubrzo je postao toliko popularan da je doslovce promijenio cijeli Disco zvuk koji je u to doba bio aktualan. Počelo se pojavljivati sve više projekata koji su kopirali karakterističan način pjevanja i "slaganja" visokih falsetto pratećih vokala. Na scenu su isplivali bandovi poput Bad Boys Blue i sličnih koji su zahvaljujući velikom uspjehu Modern Talking osigurali i sebi karijeru u diskotekama i na top ljestvicama širom Europe, a pogotovo u Italiji i Njemačkoj. Kako su se prvi album i njegova dva singla prodali u vrlo kratkom vremenu, Dieter ne čekajući da slava splasne, iste 1985 godine objavio treći singl "Cheri Cheri Lady" i drugi album "Let's Talk About Love". Još jednom i album i singl su prodani u milijunskim nakladama i zagospodarili europskim top ljestvicama. Uskoro su Modern Talking zahvaljujući enormnom broju prodanih ploča sada već širom svijeta postali njemački glazbeni fenomen. Do tada nijedan njemački Pop projekt nije postigao uspjeh takvih razmjera u tako kratkom roku. Širom Europe počeli su nicati Modern Talking-Fan Clubovi, a Dieter i Thomas su bez prestanka bili na turneji. Fenomen je postao još veći i time što su se Modern Talking počeli vrtjeti i na radijskim postajama u komunističkim zemljama, gdje je «zapadnjačka pokvarena glazba» bila čak i zabranjena primjerice u Rumunjskoj, a čak i nakon što su se Modern Talking raspali Dieter Bohlen je sa svojim slijedećim projektom Blue System još godinama punio stadione na području ex-SSSR-a, baš kao što su to na zapadu činili Guns N'Roses.

Slijedeću, 1986 godinu koja je za Dietera bila jedna od najplodnijih (u toj je godini pokrenuo još par projekata kao što su Disco diva CC Catch ili baladski Schlager pjevač Chris Norman) Modern Talking su lansirali megahit, za koji se može reći da je njihov najveći hit, budući da ih je doveo i među prvih pet najprodavanijih na britanskoj top listi prodavnosti. Radi se o pjesmi "Brother Louie". Zanimljivo je da ni prema Dieterovim ni prema planovima diskografske kuće sljedeći singl nije trebao biti "Brother Louie" već "Angie's Heart". No, igrom slučaja a ponajviše zahvaljujući zgodama u životu koproducenta Luisa Rodrigueza, Dieter je odlučio objaviti pjesmu koja je napisana kao vic o Rodriguezu. Kad se danas gleda na to, očigledno je da planirana "Angie's Heart" ne bi ni izdaleka postigla takav uspjeh, dok je "Brother Louie" ponovio uspjeh njihovog prvog singla "You're My heart, You're My Soul". Dok euforija još nije splasnula, objavljen je i drugi singl "Atlantis Is Calling (S.O.S. For Love)" koji je, iako lošiji od prethodnog, ponovno dostigao prvo mjesto na mnogim europskim ljestivcama.

Treći album "Ready For Romance" objavljen s ova dva singla predstavlja vrhunac karijere ovog projekta. Iako je ovaj album bio na meti kritičara, ponajviše zbog toga što se zvuk nije ni malo promijenio, a i zbog "plitkih" tekstova koji su na neki način zaštitni znak svih materijala koje potpisuje Dieter Bohlen, Modern Talking su u to vrijeme bili najčešće svirana grupa u europskim diskotekama i na radio postajama.

No, tada njihova karijera lagano započinje svoj put prema dolje. Dovoljno govori činjenica da je prvi singl "Geronimo's Cadillac" s četvrtog albuma "In The Middle Of Nowhere" (1986) dosegao tek četvrto mjesto u Njemačkoj. Popularnost je polako počela opadati, i nije ju uspjela vratiti ni odlična balada "Give Me Peace On Earth" objavljena za Božić 1986. No, usprkos tome, Modern Talking su i dalje imali dovoljan broj obožavtelja da su mogli raditi još dugi niz godina, naravno uz neke prepravke u zvuku i tekstovima. Do definitivnog raspada grupe 1987 godine, objavili su još dva singla i dva albuma ("Romantic Warriors", "In The Garden Of Venus").

Poslije raspada, polovicom 1988 na tržište je izbačen i album "The Best Of Modern Talking" i to u dvije verzije. Bez obzira na sve, danas se albumi Modern Talking reprintaju, jer se ponovno odlično prodaju. Poslije raspada, Dieter Bohlen je nastavio s novim projektom nazvanim Blue System, a Thomas je krenuo u solo vode objavivši prvi samostalni album, dok je trinaesti album Blue System izašao u studenom 1997 godine. Thomas se poslije raspada Modern Talking preselio u Los Angeles, dok je Dieter nastavio producentsku karijeru u Njemačkoj i dalje uspješno poslovao, producirajući, pored svog projekta Blue System, mnoge uspješne pjevače kao što su Major T, Double Trouble, Errol Brown (ex Hot Chocolate), Bonnie Tyler...

Nakon nekog vremena postane jako dosadno Dieteru, a s obzirom da Thomas ne zna što bi sa sobom pada odluka da se Modern Talking ponovno okupi. Nostalgični Disco poklonici se tome vesele jer vole Thomasa, a znaju da je Dieter upravo ono što mu treba. 1998 godine ponovno su zasjali punim sjajem sa svojim cocktailom hitova "No. 1 Hit Medley" a slijedili su "You're My Heart, You're My Soul '98" i "Brother Louie '98", što je ponovno izazvalo neopisivu maniju u Europi, pogotovo među poklonicima "satrih" Modern Talking i uopće njemačke Disco glazbe. U samo jednom tjednu nakon njihove pojave na TVu, album "Back For Good" se prodao u 250.000 primjeraka. Njihova turneja bila je još jedan trijumf.

Ohrabreni tim uspjehom Modern Talking su početkom 1999 izdali novi album nazvan "Alone - The 8th Album" koji se već po inerciji prodaje u besmisleno visokoj nakladi. Spotovi za "You're Not Alone" i "Sexy Sexy Lover" vrte se na VIVA-i, MTV-u, i ponovno u rekordnom roku osvojili su svijet i nikome nije čudno kako na albumu, izuzev spomenuta dva hita, i nema vrijednije pjesme.

2000 godine pojavili su se s albumom "2000 - Year Of The Dragon" i 19 pjesama, u trajanju od preko 70 (sedamdeset) minuta doista je godina Zmaja, ali i volje. Album je uz singlove "China In Her Eyes" i "Don't Take Away My Heart" glazbeno nudio sve što je dotad krasilo Modern Talking, ali je zvuk bio neusporedivo bolji. Današnji klasici "Fly To The Moon", "Avec Toi", "My Lonely Girl", "Time Is On My Side" bilo bi uzaludno nabrajati sve naslove...) – kvalitetom spadaju u sam vrh Eurodance scene.

2001 godine događa se "America", album koji se s jedne strane može promatrati kao dotad najdosadniji materijal, a s druge se strane radi o jednom od najkomercijalnijih albumu Modern Talkinga. Jedina zamjerka albumu je odsustvo Trance pjesama tipa "Fly To The Moon" ili "Avec Toi" ili "My Lonely Girl" ili "Time Is On My Side". One uzbudljive brzine koja je bila zaštitni znak albuma "2000 - Year Of The Dragon" gotovo da više i nema, u zamjenu smo dobili bogatiji i raznovrsniji zvuk. Album nudi vrlo zanimljive trenutke (baladne "Rain In My Heart" i "Send Me A Letter From Heaven", Eurodancerske "New York City Girl", "SMS To My Heart" i "There's Something In The Air", već legendarna Formel 1 hitčina "Win The Race").

2002 izlazi No. 1 "Victory" i kritike su izrazito povoljne jer se radilo o kombinaciji najboljih trenutaka s prethodna tri albuma, ali stvari ne stoje baš tako. Nešto od stare atmosfere se vratilo ("Ready For The Victory" popraćen izvrsnim video clipom, Eurodancerske "Higher Than Heaven", "I'm Gonna Be Strong" i "Who Will Love You Like I Do") no album opet nije niti izbliza ujednačen. Bilo kako bilo, ovaj album žanje najveći komercijalni uspjeh dosad i Dieter se odvažuje izdati svoj prvi greatest hits album. "Greatest Hits" predstavlja presjek karijere koji neupućenima daje na uvid najveće hitove tijekom godina, što ih je napravio s Modern Talking, CC Catch, Chris Norman, Bonnie Tyler...

Tri je godine bilo potrebno čekati svemirsku energiju koja je trebala doći u vidu "nastavka" albuma "2000 - Year Of The Dragon". I doista, pjesme s "Universe" prizivaju neke stare uspomene. Najuspješnije to čine "Should I, Would I, Could I" i "Everybody Needs Somebody" (nečeg ovakvog nije bilo ni 2000), a i ostatak materijala je prilično ujednačen. Aranžmani su puno maštovitiji ("Life Is Too Short"), ali se sve to od onoga prije razlikuje kao Pepsi od Coca Cole. Jasno je da je Modern Talking sa singlom "TV Makes A Superstar" zašao u slijepo crijevo Eurodancea i da se tu više ništa osobito uzbudljivo neće dogoditi. Zbog ugovora je objavljen greatest hits album i DVD "The Final Album" i Modern Talking prešutno odlazi u ropotarnicu povijesti.

U svakom slučaju, Modern Talking su jedni od najuspješnijih grupa. O njihovoj nenadmašnosti svjedoči i 100 milijuna nosača zvuka koliko su do dana današnjeg prodali širom svijeta.
